Why this costs what it costs
A polarised UV400 lens is not a luxury component. It is what a lens is supposed to be, and it costs what it costs to make.
What inflates the price elsewhere is everything around the lens: the name on the temple, the lit cabinet it sits in, the counter staff who open it. None of that improves what you see through the glass — so none of it is in this price.
Four colourways, and very few of each
Every colourway is one small batch. The two black frames move fastest and close first; when a colourway goes it leaves the selector entirely — a restock is not guaranteed.
